Sodium hydroxide offers conditioning and inflammation action, especially on over curly hair. The relaxer penetrates into the hair and the curls of the hair get re structured straightened state. Ammonium thioglycolate softens and helps make curly hair straight. Once the hair is adequately relaxed, the neutralizer should be applied. This is to stop the chemical effect of the relaxer.
There are three primary steps for straightening the curly hair

ng : Once the chemical relaxer is applied, the hair starts to soften and loses the curl.
2. Neutralizing : The chemical relaxer should be completely rinsed away with warm water followed with hair shampoo.
3. Conditioning : This provides durability and structure to damaged hair and defends hair against breakage.
Steps for curly hair straightening
1. Separate hair into five parts like left nape, right nape, right temple front, crown top and left temple front
2. Apply cold dryer for couple of minutes to get rid of dampness on the scalp
3. Use petroleum base to guard scalp from chemical substances.
4. Cover hair line about the forehead, nape of the neck and area about and surrounding the ears entirely.
5. Use conditioner to the hair prior to applying the relaxer from hair follicle to hair ends with fingertips. Now apply relaxer % on the scalp. This must not contact the scalp and skin.
6. Stretch out the strands to find the curls are removed. Take out relaxer from the applied area. Rinse hair thoroughly using warm water.
7. Make sure relaxer and rinsed water are kept away from your eyes and skins.
